• Ohio Avenue between Broadway and Walsh Place is closed to through traffic. Westbound Ohio Avenue is also closed between Walsh Place and Lincoln Street. These closures began Monday, July 1, lasting through 2025.

• Sidewalk closure along the east side of Broadway between Kentucky and Ohio avenues and west side of Broadway between Kentucky and Exposition avenues began Friday, July 26, lasting through late 2024.

Ongoing Travel Impacts

• The number of travel lanes on Broadway within the project limits has been reduced to two lanes in each direction and will remain this way through summer of 2025. 
  • Additional lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to accommodate construction activities.
• Right lane closure on the southbound I-25 off-ramp at Broadway – Exit 207A – began Tuesday, August 6, lasting through late 2024.
• Permanent full closure of the southbound I-25 on-ramp at Broadway began in June 2024 to make way for the new elevated ramp. The new ramp is expected to be completed and open to traffic in early December. 
  • In the meantime, access SB I-25 via Mississippi Avenue or Alameda and Kalamath. Detour map here.

Please note that there will be variable traffic patterns along Broadway for the duration of this project.
