200 Hour YTT

Join Daniel Taylor(E-RYT 1200) for this 200hr program where you will build the confidence to teach to all demographics and best aid your students rather than prescribing dogmatic principles. ViraVinyasa teachers have a trauma informed foundation to aid working with special audiences, accompanied by successful strategies to thrive in all teaching settings. ViraVinyasa merges Krishnamacharya’s most popular linages into a Modern Vinyasa paradigm. With Iyengar’s alignment and precision coupled with the power of the Ashtanga method’s moving meditation, we create a bio-mechanically efficient system to provide optimal growth, minimizing possibilities of injury to ourselves and our students. What sets us apart from other “smart flow” programs is that our philosophies and strategies are based in traditional schools of yoga that have been in practice for decades and in some cases centuries. To be a ViraVinyasa teacher is to be an honest, loving, and supportive instructor who strives for a higher standard of Yoga in the west. ViraVinyasa teachers create an environment where students can authentically be themselves while exploring classical philosophy in a modern paradigm. When attending a ViraVinyasa class, expect a variety of grounded sequences that are bio-mechanically influenced to be challenging both mentally and physically. Heavily influenced by Iyengar Hatha, and Ashtanaga Vinyasa. ViraVinyasa teachers have a strong passion to bring light to traditional styles while threading modern sequencing strategies that are accessible to all audiences. ViraVinyasa teachers have a trauma informed base to work with special audiences accompanied by successful strategies to thrive in all teaching settings. ViraVinyasa intends to influence students towards a seated meditation through Hindu and Buddhist practices. ViraVinyasa creates physical and mental benefits through breath, movement, and shapes that help students find their true essence, their authentic selves.
