Join Devon and Jeremy for an in-depth exploration of the Subtle body in life and practice. Yogic science illustrates an elaborate body of prana (energy) that is the framework for our physical body and the medium between mind and body. By working with and applying some of the fundamental models of practice, we can expand the potential for healing and well-being on every level.  We will explore many concepts of our subtle anatomy including: The Pancha Vayus, Koshas, HaTha/Solar-Lunar Energetics, Maha Guna, Nadis, the Chakra System, Granthi, Swara Yoga, Rasa Theory, and the Tri-Sharira, and the Tri-Dosha.  This comprehensive study of the subtle energy body will allow us to understand its key functions, how we can interact with it, and how we can influence it in order to restore balance and vitality.  Learning this language of prana will also enable us to refine our use of the many tools of yoga to accelerate the potential for transformation while strengthening our awareness of the subtle in the realms of both personal practice and teaching.

Yoga is a way to embody the flow of our elemental body and invigorate our primary connection with nature from within. In a mandala of five elemental perspectives, namaskars, and meditations for our sacred center, we will journey into how to cultivate a cellular experience of our “elemental body” for fertilization of our practice, teaching and life.

We will honor the intersections of elemental teachings within yoga, Ayurveda, tantra and indigenous wisdom and focus on embodiment of earth wisdom for healing modern disconnection and cultivating balance through movement alchemy.

  • Awakening and deepening the principles of Elemental vinyasa as movement meditation – movement alchemy as we focus on poetry, rhythm, breath and movement pattern.
  • Art of Namaskar Workbook with the Five Elemental Namaskars – Bhumi (earth) Namaskar, Jala (water) Namaskar, Agni (fire) Namaskar, Hridaya (air) Namaskar, Akash (space) Namaskar
  • Experience the integration of elemental meditation, mudra, mantra and bhavana (contemplation through the heart) and Tantric Yogic Philosophy of 36 Tattwas
  • An introduction to the prana vinyasa movement alchemy system and how to teach from a wide range of energetics with a “practice palette”
  • Write your own Movement Alchemy and lifestyle practices to create life balance and flow
  • Caring for the Elemental Body through Ayurvedic Dinacharya and Lifestyle (Daily and Seasonal) Rhythms

Join Devon Sweeney and Jeremy Wolf for a Yoga Alliance registered 200 Hour Teacher Training at the Yoga Center of Denver.

All participants receive unlimited yoga classes at the Yoga Center for the duration of the training.

Join Jeremy and Devon to learn the art of practicing and teaching yoga. We will engage in an in-depth study of this living, embodied system of tools and techniques for self exploration that informs all aspects of how we relate to our lives.

Yoga sadhana in all its forms is a microcosm for embodying the power and intelligence of nature for healing our physical bodies and approaching life through the lens of unified awareness.

Teachers in this training will be supported to be skillful, knowledgeable, and dedicated practitioners as a prerequisite to sharing their gifts through teaching.

This training will emphasize comprehensive, traditional approaches to Yoga as a system of tools and techniques to support the creation of, not only skillful teachers, but skillful practitioners. Yoga will be practiced as an integrated and embodied study that functions as a continuum extending into all aspects of life. As we grow into the idea that Yoga is not something we “do,” but instead “how” we relate to everything, our lives can become a deliberate and conscious expression of our innate potential unlocking yoga’s true potential for healing and transformation.
